I’ve mentioned vegan meal delivery services on my blog before. Meal services are definitely not a new idea, but the fact that there are companies committed to 100% vegan food still has me super excited. More companies providing vegan products and services means there is a demand, which means there truly are more and more people out there making healthy changes for themselves, the environment and the animals.

Greenlite Meals is one of those companies – a vegan meal delivery service that is committed to promoting a “healthy, environmentally friendly, cruelty-free lifestyle.” Their meals are prepared with 100% organic, plant-based ingredients by Executive Chef, Lindsey Forrest.

The meals are super easy to make. You literally unwrap from their plastic pouches and pop in the microwave. This makes it ideal for anyone who maybe not have time to cook all night but still desire to eat healthy meals at home.

Some of the meals were very similar to the kinds of meals I already cook at home. The chickpea burger was really tasty and full of plant-based protein. I paired it with the hummus and orange broccoli. Everything had a lot of flavor and was very filling.

The Beefless Stew had a really nice flavor, but I found that I had a hard time eating the “meat” part. For some people, I’m sure the realistic texture and flavor of the vegan meat would be satisfying but I found myself getting a little weirded out. The dishes that were more plant-focused were definitely my favorites.

Overall, I was happy with the quality, textures, flavors of most of the meals I tried. I also really like that everything is organic and GMO-free. Many of their meals are also gluten free and they are able to accommodate dietary needs for custom meal plans.

Greenlite Meals is definitely an easy way of having tasty, healthy meals at home and save a TON of time. Sometimes with convenience, comes waste. But Greenlite Meals avoids waste as much as possible by using 100% recyclable BPA-free plastic pouches to pack the meals and the cardboard box may also be recycled.

Some delivery services are limited to a smaller area of the country so it’s a perk that Greenlite Meals are able to ship to anywhere in the contiguous United States.
