My friend brought over the ingredients to make this a while back. I was nervous about the habanero peppers being too spicy but it really does give it the kick it needs. We dipped parmesan pretzel thins in the mustard and it was also great with warmed naan bread. I’m sure it would be delicious on anything that normal mustard goes well with. Definitely a great low-calorie condiment to have around.
Mango Habanero Mustard
Makes 1 bottle of mustard.
- 1 ripe mango
- 2-3 habanero peppers (more if you like really spicy)
- 1 bottle of yellow mustard
Add all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth. Pour into the mustard bottle or another clean container. If you choose to use the original mustard bottle make sure to label it so no one gets an unwanted surprise!
