Packed with nutrient dense, plant based ingredients, green smoothies are a great option for a quick vegan breakfast.
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any plant-based milk that you prefer)
- 1 cup fresh spinach or kale*
- 1/2 peach*
- 2 Tbsp raw almonds
- 1 frozen banana
- 4 fresh pitted dates
- 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
- Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
- Keep in mind that peaches, spinach and kale are on the list of the 12 most contaminated fruits and vegetables so I would recommend purchasing organic versions of these items.
